Creative Juice calls for entries for 2006

The Newspaper Society is inviting young creative teams to enter its Creative Juice Awards, run in association with Campaign.

Creative Juice pits creative teams against each other to create a regional press ad, based on a brief set by a leading advertiser.

Al Young, the creative director of St Luke's, will chair the judging for the 2006 event, which takes place on 7 April at the Art House in Islington.

Entry details can be obtained from Angelina Colaco at the Newspaper Society on (020) 7693 0404.

Other judges include the freelance Paul Belford, Stefan Jones from Big Al's Creative Emporium and Owen Lee from Farm Communications.

Last year, Phil Kitching and Deen Iqbal from Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R and Dave Prater and Imran Patel from Euro RSCG London were the joint winners for their work on a brief from the Electoral Commission.

The winners of the event go forward to compete in the Best YET awards to be held in Berlin and the overall winners win an expenses-paid trip to the Cannes Lions Festival.
