Creative team rejoins Saatchis from Burnett

Saatchi & Saatchi has taken back the senior creative team of Duncan

Marshall and Howard Willmott barely four months after losing them to Leo

Burnett.

The pair rejoin the agency on 23 April, taking the titles of group heads

in the creative department and reporting to the executive creative

director, Dave Droga.

Marshall and Willmott left Saatchis last November for Burnett, having

worked there for seven years.

Droga said: 'It was good for them to go to Burnett - after seven years

at Saatchis they needed to explore. I was sad to see them go, but there

was never any negotiation war - they have chosen to come back as the

agency starts to get some momentum going.'

He said they would run one of five creative groups in the agency,

working on a broad cross-section of clients.

Saatchis lost a second team to Burnett last month when Mike McKenna and

Greg Martin joined the agency as creative directors.

However, last year, Droga successfully rehired a further creative team -

Nik Studinski and Gavin Kellett - which he had lost to Bogle Bartle

Hegarty six months earlier.

The news comes two weeks before Saatchis' new chief executive, James

Hall, arrives from New Zealand to run the London office.
