Currys PC World launches six comedy idents for 'The Gadget Show'

Currys PC World has unveiled six comedy clips for its sponsorship of Channel 5's 'The Gadget Show', showing a series of domestic irritations and accidents.

The idea is to show how everyday problems can be solved with a gadget - like eating cat food instead of cereal because you didn't brew your morning coffee, a problem that can be solved with....a coffee machine.

The spots, created by Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, begin airing from today (15 April) and will run for future season of The Gadget Show.

AMV BBDO's Milo Campbell wrote the idents, while Simon Friedberg handled art direction. They were directed by Chris Balmond through Outsider and SPPMedia/Blue499 handled the media.
