DIARY: AAR's phone faux pas raises Ingram's status

Tamara Ingram's celebrity status may be going to her head. As the chairman of the London Tourist Board, a WACL member and an emerging TV personality, Ingram undoubtedly has more than her fair share of important calls to field. One would therefore expect her to have an answer phone service on her mobile.

But that's not enough for Tamara. Instead, for large parts of last week, everyone who called Ingram's mobile were put straight through to the AAR.

Confused, we asked an AAR staffer if they intended to roll out this call centre offering for other industry figures. "Erm, I think it was a mistake," she said. Oh well. It was nearly a good story.
