It’s official: advertising is not a job for grown men, as our pic shows.

One of BDDH’s five new ads for Banks’s beer, which introduce the new

line, ‘A balanced beer in an unbalanced world’, features an interview

with a woman who apparently runs a ‘gnome reserve’.

The woman in question was so barking she insisted that the crew, agency

personnel and, indeed, the client had to wear gnome hats while filming

‘for fear of embarrassing the gnomes’. (Gnomes are a particularly

sensitive breed, apparently, and would be deeply miffed if they thought

you were taking the piss.)

And rather than telling her where to stick her peculiar headgear, all

those present happily complied with the request. Scared of one of those

infamous gnomey curses, obviously.
