Bored with all those seminars and conferences - ‘Sex, brands and

integrated communications’, ‘22 remaining things you didn’t know about

advertising on the Internet’? Well, here’s a seminar that might actually

teach you how to speak at all those brand and Internet conferences, and

be paid for doing so.

Barry Graham, of Graham Marketing Communications, has long been an

after-dinner speaker and he’s set up ‘Speaker’s Corner’, a bureau which

caters not for celebrities but for accomplished speakers in given

subjects.

He’s running a full-day seminar, ‘Be Paid to Speak’ (a bloody good

title, if we may say so), on Saturday 20 April at the Imperial Hotel in

London’s Russell Square.

This costs pounds 95, including lunch. But, if you really want to learn

about speaking, just go along to any Jeremy Bullmore gig.
