Diary: Droga's got some front

Diary was heartened to see that the defunct Scamp blog has been resurrected.

But before we get too excited, it appears the man behind Scamp, Bartle Bogle Hegarty's Simon Veksner, is using it solely to promote his new book How To Make It As An Advertising Creative, which launched last week.

Dave Droga, who wrote the foreword to the book, is also credited on the front cover. And on his blog, Veksner notes with some irritation that the publishers have made Droga's name look more prominent than his own.

If Veksner writes a follow-up to the title, Diary predicts there will be a long chapter on how to haggle over credits.
