Top marks for effort go to Jeremy and Pierre, two grads who had Euro RSCG in their sights. Euro RSCG folks were tickled to see the two smiley young men handing out free cups of coffee on their doorstep recently. But this was no Starbucks promotion. The grads were touting their Arabica beans around adland in exchange for a minute's interview with otherwise inaccessible directors. The pitch was enough to get the attention of the Euro RSCG chief, Russ Lidstone, who interviewed them and walked away with their CVs scribbled on his coffee cup.
This week, Diary would like to commend the efforts of all of those desperate grads out there trying blag a job.
