Diary: Glowing front-page headline

With a glowing front-page headline like this, you could be forgiven for thinking Trevor Beattie has been having a number of secret liaisons with the PR guru Max Clifford.

The hagiography, from Monday's Independent media section, features a number of gems from Beattie. The "urban spaceman" offers his services to Labour for its election advertising (despite Saatchis holding the account), time permitting, of course: "Saatchis will do it, but I'm here if I'm required and available for work." He also exclaims: "Ads that are older than five years are awful." Does that apply to your own back catalogue then Trev?
