DIARY: GOATEE SPECIAL; Departure of hairless chief brings fortress mentality within JWT

A little late, granted, but the Diary brings you a top April Fool tale that was definitely made for sharing. Last Monday, a memo was sent round JWT by the chief executive, Dominic Proctor, announcing - with sadness - the departure of the managing director, Stephen Carter (who incidentally is too young to grow a goatee - so we put one in for him, see below) for AMV.

Nevertheless, Proctor warned staff to be vigilant: ‘Stephen has access

to a wide range of confidential information and we have asked him to

stay away from the building. If anyone sees him, will they please detain

him and telephone me so I can remove him from the premises.’ Look out

next week for a list of the sycophantic sneaks who shopped our Stephen.
