Diary: Huntington finds a place on Campaign's B List

Campaign's phone has been ringing off the hook this week with calls from aggrieved agency types, anxious that they haven't received their coveted A List letter.

For Richard Huntington, Saatchi & Saatchi's director of strategy, the absence of his letter was too much to bear and, after tiring of his moaning, his colleagues mocked up a letter to Huntington inviting him to be a part of the slightly less prestigious "Campaign B List".

It read: "Only a select group of quite powerful and reasonably inspiring individuals are invited to The B List, the industry's second-most recognised book on the people who matter a little bit in advertising, media and marketing."
