The ad for the post-apocalyptic TV horror show The Walking Dead appeared on the side of a funeral home in County Durham recently. Whoever was behind it can take a bow. Not many media planners can truthfully boast: "I target dead people." The PR the billboard generated was priceless. To quote a report in the Northern Echo, the poster "raised a few eyebrows in Consett".
