Diary: Kiki Kendrick keeps her Hair on for her new role

The pathological need to utter "darling" and give "mwah, mwah" air kisses is a trait long associated both with the ad industry and the world of actors and actresses.

There are, unsurprisingly, close links between the two. Ads need actors to act in them, and actors (because, let's face it, most of them do not get that much work) need ads to pay the mortgage.

So it is likely the former Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and Euro RSCG art director Kiki Kendrick will be well prepared for whatever the acting life may throw at her as she makes her bid for stardom.

Kendrick can be seen appearing as the lead in a two-woman play called I Want That Hair. It is not a fringe production.

Unfortunately, it is not playing in London, but Kendrick is appearing at the Mumford Theatre in Cambridge on Thursday 30 March.

Alternatively, catch her in her numerous television or film reruns. She played a biker chick in The Office and also appeared in My Family and Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps.
