She left as noisily as she arrived. Angie ‘Mad Dog’ Leefe, PR supremo for M&C Saatchi and, before that, Charlotte Street for 15 years, finally departed amid tears and laughter last week to ‘spend more time with her family’.

She left as noisily as she arrived. Angie ‘Mad Dog’ Leefe, PR supremo

for M&C Saatchi and, before that, Charlotte Street for 15 years, finally

departed amid tears and laughter last week to ‘spend more time with her

family’.

All darling-and-sunglasses-with-a-hangover, AbFab Angie will be sorely

missed by her boys, whose profiles she has nurtured and tweaked for the

past six years.

Her finest hour will be recorded as the time when Bill Muirhead and

other Saatchis henchmen were defecting to M&C Saatchi. Angie was charged

with sorting out photos of the Three Amigos, so she nicked their in-

house shots from Charlotte Street, got copies done at Happy Snaps, and

charged the bill to the old agency.

Aware of her loud reputation, she sent a special leaving-do invite to

the august Jeremy Sinclair with a note attached saying ‘I promise I

won’t shout’. He wrote back: ‘It’s a deal - J.’
