Diary: Marketing Group diner lacks model manners

At the Marketing Group of Great Britain dinner last week, one member was notable for her absence: Sue Farr, the chairman of Chime Communication's advertising division.

But one diner speculated that it was just as well the perfectly groomed Farr - who is never normally one to shy away from the opportunity to appear on stage, wielding a microphone and a designer gown - was absent from this particular event. It would, of course, have been the first time that Farr found herself upstaged because the highbrow event was also attended by Claudia Schiffer, a guest of Matthew Freud.
