DIARY: McAuslan's is art, but it is curtains for King

In case you hadn't heard, J. Walter Thompson is moving. In keeping with the new era, the agency has produced a suedette, art-directed tome to showcase some of its work and senior management.

JWT's chief executive, Simon Bolton, explains that the book communicates the "hunger of a start-up with the confidence of an industry leader". The jury's still out on that claim.

The agency's management list their interests. Bolton's is "diving", while the inimitable Harry McAuslan's interests are entirely appropriate to a gentleman of Berkeley Square - "art, painting and collecting spectacles".

But the agency's managing director, Ros King's, interest is, er, "making curtains". And clearly she's not making it up - she appears to be wearing some for the photo shoot.
