Diary: Pick of the Week - 180 Amsterdam/Adidas World Cup ads

Noel Bussey loves 180 Amsterdam's latest Adidas World Cup ads: "OK, so it's more football for the boys, but the ads hit the target like a Beckham free-kick.

The action's superbly choreographed and the soundtrack is just right. Plus, the second ad ends with a lovely little touch, by lampooning the 'was it/wasn't it' third England goal in the 1966 World Cup final." The ads were written by Lee Hempstock and Richard Bullock, art directed by Chris Landy and Andy Fackrell, and directed by Ivan Zacharias through Stink.
