The sight of a triumphant Sir Martin Sorrell pounding the streets of gritty Redbridge and bearing the Olympic torch is one that made the national newspapers.

Less well-known, however, is the role played by Euro RSCG Worldwide's global chief operating officer, Chris Pinnington, in getting the torch to the Olympic Park. One eagle-eyed spectator spotted Pinnington waving graciously to the crowds on the Coca-Cola bus that accompanied the torch on the final leg of its journey as it made its way through central London. Lounging on the coach and surrounded by attractive Coke models, it's difficult not to conclude that he - rather than Sorrell - chose the most sensible option.
