Diary: Rotten ad grad schemes get named and shamed

It's perhaps testament to the integrity and initiative of the latest batch of budding adland graduates that, rather than battle mercilessly for the precious few vacancies offered up by the all-powerful agencies, they're willing to help each other get on the first rung of the ladder.

Just as they did last year, the bloggers at http://www.adgrads.blogspot.com have created a forum where jobseekers can share stories and advice about getting into an agency.

It also contains a comprehensive list of who is running recruitment schemes and their deadlines, as well as some rather frank posts on whose schemes leave a lot to be desired. Beattie McGuinness Bungay seems to have annoyed one writer in particular.

But the site also highlights the agencies which manage to get it right. Top of that list is TBWA\London, apparently. Three guesses which agency brought the site to the attention of Diary.
