Diary: Saatchis' home in limbo

Saatchi & Saatchi has become so synonymous with the street where it is based that "Charlotte Street" was historically and is still occasionally used as shorthand for the agency.

But all that could change given that the lease on its building is up at the beginning of next year. Word reaches Campaign that M&C Saatchi's worldwide chief executive, Moray MacLennan, is mischievously eyeing the building, perhaps with a view to relocating the agency to what would almost be its ancestral home.
