DIARY: Senora had the wrong idea when it came to 18-30's doggy style ad

Filming a naughty video can be a tricky business. There's the cast - are they right for the job? There's the location - is it conducive to hot love action? And there's the crew - are they up to the task of, ahem, shooting some precision footage?

The creative team at Saatchi & Saatchi who came up with the racy Club 18-30 cinema ad thought they had all bases covered when they flew off to the shoot in a remote part of Spain. The ad stars a sex-crazed mongrel who dives off on a serious bonking mission after clocking some human action through a window.

The agency's Howard "Barbara Woodhouse

Wilmott and Duncan "John Noakes" Marshall had a specialist dog-handler in tow, no less than nine beasts with which to play and any number of kinky toys such as collars and leads.

Oh, and a local crew who'd handily paved the way with the town council about where they could and couldn't film their canine hero doing what comes naturally.

All went swimmingly, according to Wilmott, until they came across what can only be described as a local madam, keen to promote her protege to the team. "We were filming in a residential area when suddenly, this wizened old lady started talking to the crew. From what we could gather from her rather graphic gesticulations, her dog had, um, all the necessary attributes for our film, and she hobbled off to fetch him,

he recalls.

Any delight in finding the next hot star in pooch-porn was short-lived.

"She came back dragging the most raddled, ancient-looking mutt any of us had ever seen. It was about 100. I think it might have popped its clogs if we'd let it join the cast,

Wilmott says.
