Diary: That takes the biscuit

We know crowdsourcing is becoming a bad habit these days but it seems Publicis may have misunderstood the difference between it and just using another person's idea.

Its latest ad for HobNobs displays a stark resemblance to a video from the beatboxer Beardyman. The similarity has not been lost on Beardyman, who actually turned down an offer to be involved in the ad. He took to Twitter to ask his followers whether he should sue, as he has it "all in writing", and to complain it's a shame as he has "always liked HobNobs".
