DIARY: TOP GEAR - Gamma TNT golf balls

It’s do or die out there ... kill or be killed. So it’s crucial to take every opportunity that comes your way to stay one step ahead of the field. And if that involves a smidgeon of underhandedness, well, all’s fair in love and war. And golf, of course.

It’s do or die out there ... kill or be killed. So it’s crucial to

take every opportunity that comes your way to stay one step ahead of the

field. And if that involves a smidgeon of underhandedness, well, all’s

fair in love and war. And golf, of course.

The Gamma TNT golf ball comes packaged in a stick of dynamite, and if

you’re looking to blow your opponents away, this is the kit for you.

This ball sailed into the Guinness Book of Records on 18 April when

British golfer Karl Woodward drove it an incredible 398 yards. But now

the self-professed ’longest legal golf ball in the world’ is available

to everyone from Mr Tiger Woods to Mr lost in the woods.

Each ball is irradiated with gamma rays that create millions of

additional intermolecular bonds. The bonds energise the core to increase

your drives by a claimed 3 to 25 per cent, while still conforming to US

Golf Association rules. Apparently, the ’432 tripentazoid dimple pattern

ensures optimal flight trajectory,’ although you’ll have to take the

manufacturer’s word for that.

So if you love to win, but won’t stoop to treading on your partners’

balls, TNT could blast you to victory.

Two Gamma TNT golf balls pounds 5.95
