Diary: Turkey of the Week - Bartle Bogle Hegarty/Woolwich

Ben Bold is unconvinced by the fake-tanned couple in hippy wigs in Bartle Bogle Hegarty's latest effort for the Woolwich:

"The idea is that, thanks to their Woolwich mortgage, the pair extended their honeymoon in the Caribbean for 15 years. But for me, faux hippies talking in a ludicrous Jamaican patois just brings on the red mist. And the ad's climax almost had me lashing out at the screen - 'touch me,' the male hippy says, proffering a clenched fist to the passport officer, who looks at him with disdain. Cringe"
