Francesca Newland does not believe that Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners' campaign for WH Smith will do much to help the retailer out of its current gloom: "The use of talking worms as a branding device was always going to be tricky to execute. The result is something that looks like a maggot at worst and the grub from I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! at best. I just don't believe that it's a strong enough idea to persuade shoppers to shun Asda for WH Smith."
