Diary: Turkey of the Week - Leo Burnett/McDonald's

Darren Davidson isn't lovin' Leo Burnett's latest TV ad for McDonald's:

"Looking at David Dickinson's perma-tanned orange face does not make me want to eat at McDonald's. The exact opposite, in fact. The spot promotes the fast-food chain's pound-saver menu and uses Dickinson to make a spurious link between his talent for spotting a bargain and McDonald's cheap burgers. The ad really is cheesier than a double cheeseburger, and 100 per cent less appealing."
