Diary: Turkey of the Week - Quiet Storm/Fridge Raiders

Kate Nettleton takes umbrage with several aspects of Quiet Storm's TV ad for Fridge Raiders:

"Last time I checked, people turn into werewolves after being bitten by one, not by eating cold fridge meats. Then there's the issue of why I would want to eat something that made me grow excessively long facial hair (think Denis Healey eyebrows and Meat Loaf mane). Not to mention why the woman finds the beast sexually irresistible and a backing track that wouldn't be out of place at a bar mitzvah. Bizarre."
