Diary: Turkey of the week - Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R's/Lloyds TSB

Claire Billings thinks Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R's latest ads for Lloyds TSB epitomises the problem of a tired, pointless brand mascot: "Would someone please explain the relevance of the black horse? And who thought it would be a good idea to morph a woman's legs into the horse's? In shoehorning the black horse into the ad when clearly there is no obvious need for it, the campaign highlights its irrelevance to the brand. Its surprising appearance distracts the viewer from the message, which is lost."
