Diary: W1 just got a bit rowdy

The Corner opened for business with a launch party at its Fitzrovia offices last week and things went with a bit more of a bang than expected.

Diary: W1 just got a bit rowdy

Revellers poured on to the street and carried on drinking well past 9pm, at which point local residents phoned the council to complain and the threat of sending in the local fuzz to sort out the craziness was made. Happily, the founders Neil Simpson, Tom Ewart and Neil Hourston managed to cajole the hard-drinking throng back into the new office to carry on their antics until a sensible closing time of 10pm. Clearly, the morning new-business meetings are not taking precedence over late nights on the lash.
