THE TALK TIME SPENT How lucky is Clemmow Hornby Inge? The sudden 3 hrs 15 mins exit of the British Gas marketing chief and number-one CHI fan, Nick Smith, could have meant trouble. His replacement with Amanda Mackenzie, who at BT was a founding member of the CHI fan club, is therefore fortuitous. It's almost chocs-away time on the BA pitch. But who 1hr 2 mins will win? DDB London is the frontrunner, but Bartle Bogle Hegarty's dogged pursuit of the business may win the day. However, M&C can't be counted out. How long before News International enters the 48 mins freesheet fray?
