The Nielsen billings figures revealed in Campaign 1hr 27mins
last week. Let's hope all those big agencies have gone
far enough in restructuring their business to cope with
the effects of such seismic drops. As for Bartle Bogle
Hegarty's 25 per cent slump ... ouch ... the agency needs
some good news soon.
Rebekah Brooks at Wacl last week. Of course, she 41 mins
was polished and practiced (despite the fact that this was
apparently only her second ever public speech) but she
managed to win over her audience almost entirely.
Campaign has won an award - at this week's 3 mins
spectacular Creative Circle do, for services to the ad
industry. As CC's president, Trevor Beattie, said: "We love
you. We hate you. Oh, alright, we love you."
