DIRECT NEWS: Davies and Easton take on Nissan and b2 at Payne Stracey

Payne Stracey has recruited two new directors to work on its management board, Pippa Easton and James Davies.

Payne Stracey has recruited two new directors to work on its

management board, Pippa Easton and James Davies.



Davies joins Payne Stracey from Limbo, where he ran the Audi account for

more than two years. During this time Audi won a number of awards and,

in April 1997, became the first direct marketing campaign to be

shortlisted at D&AD. In the same year, it took a gold for brand building

at the Direct Marketing Association awards.



At Payne Stracey, Davies will take the role of board account director on

the agency’s Nissan account.



Easton joins the agency as a board account director with special

responsibility for the new Barclays’ b2 business, having spent the past

two years working as a consultant. Among her recent projects are

Sainsbury’s Reward Card and British Gas. She has also worked for direct

marketing agencies, including WWAV Rapp Collins.



The appointments follow a series of new-business wins for Payne Stracey,

including Age Concern and Barclayloan Select.
