Harrison Patten Troughton Brand Response has signed up a new

creative duo as the start-up agency continues to increase its staff on

the back of a string of wins since its March launch.

The art director, Tony Henry, who joins from HHCL & Partners, and John

Fitzgerald, a freelance copywriter, have not worked together before and

have been brought together by Steve Harrison, HPT’s creative

partner.

Harrison commented: ’These two have what we are looking for -

ideas-driven, response-oriented skills. It wasn’t that we were

desperately looking.

I’m always looking for the right people.’

The two will work across the main accounts of the six-month-old Rainey

Kelly Campbell Roalfe-backed start-up, which picked up the Virgin

Atlantic account from Rapier (Campaign, 11 September). In addition, the

agency has won business from Royal & SunAlliance, Granada’s GSkyB,

Telstra and a project for the Times.

Henry has spent the last four years at HHCL where he worked across the

agency’s key integrated accounts, including Mazda, Guinness Ireland, the

AA and Martini.

Fitzgerald has most recently been freelancing at Craik Jones, Bean

Andrews Norways Cramphorn and TBWA GGT Simons Palmer.
