Shame on the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising and TV sales
chiefs for adopting an ostrich-like pose in the wake of the awkward
questions asked of TV sales policies by the Office of Fair Trading.
If they have nothing to hide, why are they acting with all the disarming
honesty of a man approaching a customs desk with his underpants stuffed
full of gold watches?
Such furtive behaviour can only encourage the OFT’s belief that a large
can of worms is just waiting to be opened.
