Editorial: Hall of Fame highlights female struggle

Congratulations to John Hegarty for earning a place in The One Club's Creative Hall of Fame. He joins David Abbott and David Ogilvy on the three-strong list of Brits to have won the honour. Having founded a network which has converted creative integrity into business success, the accolade is well-earned and uncontroversial. What is incredible, however, is that one of his fellow nominees, Diane Roths-child of Della Femina Rothschild Jeary & Partners, is the first woman to earn the award. It demonstrates the distance women have to travel to achieve creative greatness.
