Estee Lauder shifts outdoor account to Posterscope

LONDON - The cosmetics company Estee Lauder has shifted its £3m outdoor account out of Portland Outdoor and into Posterscope.

Posterscope won the account following a pitch directly to the client. The win follows the decision by Burkitt DDB to move its outdoor buying out of IPM and into Posterscope.

Posterscope will work with the Estee Lauder marketing teams and its media agency, Mediahead, on all aspects of outdoor planning and buying.

The win tops off an impressive new-business performance for Posterscope -- the Aegis-owned outdoor specialist has won £50m of new business in the past 12 months.

Terry Alexander, the strategic development director at Posterscope, said: "The Estee Lauder company has a fantastic portfolio of global brands and it takes an enormous interest in their its affairs in the pursuit of quality and effectiveness. We are delighted to have been appointed to work with it in maximising these objectives in outdoor."

Posterscope is the largest outdoor buyer in the country, with control of 40% of the market.
