Euro hires JWT pair for Reckitt account

Euro RSCG Worldwide has swooped to sign two senior JWT employees, as it moves to bed in its global Reckitt Benckiser account.

Charity Charity joins Euro RSCG Worldwide as the joint worldwide creative director on the FMCG account. She will work alongside the agency's existing creative director on the business, Mark Fiddes.

Sam Southey has also been signed, as the UK business director on the Reckitt account.

Euro has had to make a number of hirings under the terms of a Tupe transfer, which is thought to have cost the agency around £70,000. An agency source said that neither Southey nor Charity were part of that transfer.

The Euro RSCG Worldwide global brand director for Reckitt Benckiser, Pete Zillig, said: "Reckitt Benckiser rated Charity and Sam very much on this business, and we are very happy that they have decided to join us. I think that they'll make a huge contribution to what we're trying to achieve on the business."

Zillig joined Euro from Lowe in August 2006 to run the global Reckitt account. Reckitt consolidated into Euro from McCann Erickson and JWT the previous month after a protracted review.
