- The new media venture capital firm, eVentures, has appointed Diana Noble, from private equity firm Schroder Ventures, as its UK chief executive officer.
As chief executive Noble will be responsible for assembling the key groups for each of the businesses that eVentures is launching in the UK. The first of these will be an affiliate of E-LOAN of the US.
According to Noble: "I can't think of a more exciting place to be sitting today. The timing of this business is impeccable as it will be at the forefront of the UK internet revolution. We hit the ground running as there is an incredible pipeline of businesses that we will be announcing over the next few months."
eVentures is a joint venture between Softbank and News Corp. It was launched earlier this year and it is headed up by chief executive officer Mark Booth, who is the former BSkyB CEO.
