The agency, which already oversees the brand's TV advertising, picked up the DM brief without a pitch. It will now work on a series of campaigns to promote Everest's product range, which includes its core window and door products, a new solar energy range, handyman service and home emergency cover business. Drayton Bird was the previous incumbent on the account.

MBA has worked with Everest for four years, and in 2008 launched a campaign for the brand featuring the Irish TV presenter Craig Doyle, which aimed to highlight the quality and energy efficiency of the company's products.

The campaign helped sales to rise by more than 5 per cent and won a bronze IPA Effectiveness award.

Last month, Everest consolidated its media planning and buying business into MediaCom, after a three-way pitch.

Duncan Bland, the marketing director of Everest, said: "MBA has been key to our brand strategy, and it seems natural to extend its remit further across our business."
