Express Newspapers and ITN in sports partnership

The agreement with ITN is one of a number of content deals that Express Newspapers is likely to sign for the new site, which is due to launch onto the Internet in early summer.

Under the terms of the agreement, ITN will provide audio sports bulletins throughout the day, delivered straight to the Express Sport site using RealMedia technology.

Dennis Greene head of new media editorial at Express Newspapers, said: "The Express Sport website will be a quality site and that is why we are working with quality suppliers. Our partnership with ITN will result in one of many exciting elements on our site."
