Express unveils new sports Website

Express Newspapers today launches Express Sport Live, a new all-sports Website which boasts high-tech live Internet chat sessions among its features.

Express Newspapers today launches Express Sport Live, a new all-sports Website which boasts high-tech live Internet chat sessions among its features.

The Express team has worked closely with technology companies ICL and Oracle on the production of the site, as well as with Express Newspapers' sister United News & Media company, DDM.

The site launches with eight advertisers including British Airways, Gateway 2000, Virgin Interactive, Citroen and Interplay Productions. The site will launch using the Net Gravity advertising system.

The development of the site has brought with it a series of new appointments. Jonathan Baron joins the new media sales team from IPC where he worked on a number of lifestyle magazines. Geoffrey Inns has also joined the team moving over from FT Electronic Publishing.
