Families of Premier League players star in W&K Coke idents

The families of top Premiership players are to feature in new

Coca-Cola idents, created by Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam.

The ads aim to provide a unique insight of the families' real lives.

The bumpers support ITV's The Premiership football programming, which

airs for the first time at 7pm on Saturday 18 August.

Viewers will be subjected to anecdotes into how individual players'

grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters and cousins enjoy a unique

relationship with the game.

The ads will feature a family from each of the Premiership clubs, such

as relatives of Rio Ferdinand of Leeds and Robbie Savage of Leicester

City.

Charlotte Oades, Coca-Cola Great Britain and Ireland's marketing

director, said: "Coca-Cola GB has been involved in football at all

levels for more than 30 years with our associations with grassroots

football, right through to international events such as the World

Cup.

"The break bumper creative has been specifically developed to feature

top Premiership players' families enjoying their own unique relationship

with the game."

The ads were art directed by John Boiler and written by Jon

Matthews.

Direction was by James Marsh through @radical.media. Media was handled

by Coca-Cola.
