Fetch hires Vizeum's Sutherland as UK managing director

Fetch, the Dentsu Aegis Network global mobile agency, has appointed Jo Sutherland, the chief operating officer at Vizeum, as its UK managing director.

In the newly created role, Sutherland will lead the UK business and report to James Connelly, the chief executive and founder of Fetch.

The creation of a managing director role follows Fetch winning new clients such as Yelp, Opentable and Travelocity.

Sutherland joined Vizeum, also a Dentsu Aegis shop, in 1999 as a planner. She then worked at Carat as its group communications director between 2000 and 2010, before rejoining Vizeum as managing partner in 2011. She took on the chief operating officer role in 2012.

Connelly said: "I am confident that Jo will bring with her even more success for the brand in the UK as well as allowing us to start offering Fetch’s services to some of the fantastic client brands that exist within Denstu Aegis Network’s group of businesses."
