And then there were five ... Lieberman quits McCann 'dream team'

Frank Lieberman, McCann Erickson's veteran executive head of TV, has left the agency, consigning its original "dream team" of managers to history.

Lieberman is the third of the much-vaunted "McCann eight" (pictured) to depart since the end of last year. In December 2005, Robert Campbell, the executive creative director, left, and one month later, the executive head of art, Mark Reddy, quit to join Bartle Bogle Hegarty. They were part of an expensive and high-profile line-up tasked with improving the fortunes of the McCann London office two years ago.

Lieberman will continue to consult for McCann on an occasional basis, but will also work on personal projects, including developing a TV gameshow with the actor Andrew Sachs.
