Framfab and Wheel appoint leadership

The recently merged digital agencies Wheel, Framfab and LB Icon have appointed a new UK management team to lead the combined entity.

Luke Taylor, the former chief executive of Framfab UK, will be the chief executive of the new company, while Ewen Sturgeon, previously the managing director of Wheel, will become its managing director.

Taylor will focus on topline revenue growth, while Sturgeon will work on extending Wheel's full-service capability across the group.

Taylor will report to the new group chief executive, Robert Pickering, the former chief executive of LB Icon. The former managing director of LB Icon UK, Tony Gale, will become the managing partner for technology and Mike Mulligan, previously Framfab's operations director, becomes the managing partner for operations and integration.

Sturgeon said: "We will be looking to make the most of our combined capability in the UK and then to target new international clients."
