FT Group hires marketing head

The Financial Times Group has hired Joanna Manning-Cooper to head up its group marketing activities.

The Financial Times Group has hired Joanna Manning-Cooper to head up its group marketing activities.

The new role covers all external and internal communications for the FT Group, including the newspaper, FT.com, FT Business and its other business publishing ventures.

Manning-Cooper joins from Shandwick International, where she was associate board director. She will report to marketing director Barry Herstein and the group's parent company Pearson's president John Fallon.

The Group has also promoted Anoushka Healy to head of newspaper PR and group PR manager for the FT.
