The pair first teamed up in 1995 at McCann Erickson, where they worked on Shredded Wheat, Black & Decker and Coca-Cola. Their work on L'Oreal introduced the footballer David Ginola as a spokesman for the brand.
After moving to Publicis in 1999, they worked on the Woolwich Building Society, Coca-Cola and HP, where their global Hype campaign earned them promotion to worldwide creative directors on the project.
The Euro RSCG Worldwide global chief executive, David Jones, said: "They are exactly what we want on Volvo. We have set a very high rate of ground-breaking for this global client with work such as 'life on board'."
