Future's e-commerce platform delivers bumper Black Friday for retail partners

Its sites, which include TechRadar, PC Gamer, T3 and GamesRadar+, generated 181,500 transactions for Future’s retail partners in the month of November, worth more than £21m, with £14m of this coming in Black Friday weekend alone.

The company’s overall e-commerce revenues are up 187% year-on-year, it added.

The platform, Hawk, connects Future’s editorial content connected to price information from "all known retailers" which is displayed in price comparison widgets embedded in web pages.

It is complimented by an SEO strategy that Future said consistently placed its sites at the top of search results in both the UK and US in the run up to Black Friday and across the weekend.

Future said its superior conversion rates in the technology sector made it the preferred partner for retailers including Amazon, Carphone Warehouse, John Lewis and Walmart, who provide the publisher with access to exclusive deals.
