GALLERY 02: Nike - Rucker Park

Ever since Vince Carter jumped over a 7'2" French dude to dunk an amazing basket at the Olympics, creatives at W+K have brainstormed how to use such action to create a funky spot for Nike. The result is 'Rucker Park', where an actual stage set was built from scratch in Toronto to capture the ambience of downtown 1970s New York. The film was shot in one day with two cameras (and 16mm reversal film), which helps get the mood and feel, as do the 800 extras glued to the on-court action.
