This eagerly anticipated Levi's ad is a sultry, intriguing and voyeuristic portrayal of inner-city living. With its beautifully composed pictures, steamy and surreal atmosphere, off-beat casting and hypnotic soundtrack, it feels more like an extract from a film than a commercial. As such, it is bound to appeal to the target market but, crucially, without them feeling like they are being sold to. The team has effortlessly captured Levi's "cool" brand essence and managed to be sexy without being smutty and obvious.
